We had a wonderful breakfast experience at Burnt Toast Restaurant in Elgin, Illinois. It’s a family-owned restaurant with a huge seating area, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was simple, fresh, and really good, with generous portions. We ordered eggs, pancakes, and sandwiches, and everything was satisfying and nicely prepared. A special shout-out to our server, Colleen, who was super friendly, energetic, and made our experience even better. Great service from start to finish! We really enjoyed our breakfast here and would definitely recommend giving Burnt Toast a try if you’re in the area.

The food was absolutely amazing I ordered the sweet potato hash skillet. All the flavors came together perfectly, with some ketchup to amplify the sweet potato 👌 the service was great, was sat outside right away with a lovely view of the pond. It was peaceful, my server and busser were very attentive, and everyone was friendly. The food came out way faster than expected, it came out within 5 minutes of ordering! The coffee was a little too bitter for me even with all the cream and sugar I added, but other than that minor complaint, everything came out phenomenal and I would love to come back again.

Burnt Toast is one of the best breakfast places around. We love getting to stop in every time we're town. Their skillets and omelettes are the best! If you like hash browns, ask for them well done and covered in cheese. You won't be disappointed!

Had a to go order for French toast this looks NASTY and taste nasty. I try to finish it but this bread pudding with berries. Very disappointed. DO NOT RECOMMEND waisted $15+ of your $. I’d like to get my money back but I dispose of my receipt

This was our first time hear and we enjoyed the nice casual breakfast. I got the Denver skillet and my husband got the ribeye breakfast. Both were great I got a vanilla latte and it is one of the best I have had in a while. The fresh orange juice was yummy! If you are looking for a great breakfast place this is the place to go. Also lots of families so it seemed like kids loved it as well.
